The pattern can be made with sport weight for a pin or worsted for an ornament. Scrap quantities are sufficient. No needle size is given.

This hat pattern is slightly slouchy and is extra stretchy due to the stitch pattern which is great if you like a looser fitting hat. The spiral knit hat is fun to work up and looks good in any color. Try mixing it up and making the brim of the hat a different color than the body of the hat.
