A quick knit once you’re past the yoke with most of the skirt being in St St. There’s something about a white dress for a newborn - so pure!

I found this coat knitting pattern on Ravelry...
The designer shortened the sleeves to 3/4 length for this version and alternated two rows of body-color with two rows on accent color on the collar and sleeves. also used knit button loops rather than the fabric loop in the pattern.

This is a lovely dress pattern! The sleeveless smock top is knit in garter and stockinette stitch. To make it more attractive, you can crochet some flowers and sew some buttons on the front!
