From the Stitch Description: “This elegant version of Diamond Brocade carries a historical footnote of a rather gruesome nature. It is one of the patterns in a vest worn by King Charles I of England on the day of his execution in 1649. This vest, a marvelous piece of master knitting of the period, was worked in blue silk. it was preserved in the London Museum.”

A few of these patterns might seem hard. In some ways, they are; handling four needles at once or remembering when to increase is challenging for anyone, not just beginners. But I promise, once you're in the thick of them it'll feel much more doable, and you'll be extra proud of yourself when you finally reach the last row. And just because something might not turn out to look like the perfect, well-lit picture doesn't mean it's not worthwhile...

I found This knitting scarf pattern on Ravelry...
Debbie Seton: "I bought some Rowan Kidsilk Eclipse in the Gemini colourway to make a bride’s shawl and when picking that up, I was very attracted to this ‘Libra’ colourway too, so picked up 4 skeins of that too.
Whilst making the shawl with the cream shade, I was thinking what I’d so with the grey shade and got to wondering what the trellis scarf would be like in that yarn…
I knew that it would take me ages to knit up, but once I’d done a swatch of the pattern with this Eclipse yarn, I had to make it - just so pretty!"

K1p1 invisible bind-off - Tutorial

K1p1 invisible bind-off - Tutorial

I found This knitting tutorial on Pinterest...
Tani said: "since you end at the cuff when you knit toe-up, the bind-off must be loose and elastic. it would be a tragedy to have (unintentionally) slouchy socks after all the time you put into it. I found a k1p1 invisible bind-off that I thought might work for me described in the twisted sister’s sock workbook. the wording was a little confusing, but I plowed on…and thought to put what I learned up on the ol’ blog to share with you.  🙂
it may seem like a lot of work, but I think this bind-off is especially pretty and very elastic. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!"
