A Blanket and Bunny in One
Bunny Blanket Buddy combines the comfort of a small blanket with the personality of a soft knitted bunny.
One of the clever features of the design is its construction: the cuddly toy is worked in one piece, with only some finishing required at the end.
The bunny's head is lightly stuffed, while the facial details are embroidered with a small amount of contrasting yarn.
Yarn and Needles
The original pattern was designed for Lion Brand Velvetspun and calls for approximately 110 yards (101 m) of yarn.
Two needle sizes are used: US 10½ (6.5 mm) and US 8 (5 mm).
Lion Brand notes that gauge is not particularly important for this project, but the head should be knitted firmly enough to hold the stuffing securely.
