About the No Sew Baby Booties
Designed by Mari-Liis Hirv, these little booties were created specifically to reduce one of the finishing jobs many knitters dislike: sewing knitted pieces together.
Instead of knitting several separate pieces and joining them afterwards, the construction creates the bootie without a traditional assembly seam. The designer notes that you still need to hide the yarn ends when the knitting is finished.

The original pattern suggests DROPS Muskat, a DK-weight cotton yarn.
The published requirement is approximately:
80–109 yards / 73–100 metres
The original materials information specifies one 50g ball of DROPS Muskat. If you already own a legitimate copy of the pattern and want to substitute yarn, concentrate on matching the published gauge rather than simply choosing another yarn labelled DK.
Needles and Gauge
The original project uses:
US 6 / 4.0 mm double-pointed needles
The published stockinette gauge is:
