Each bird is charted in color graphs - and you can either knit them as you go or stitch afterward as a duplicate stitch. Pillow patterns can be used for any of the songbirds. 12 songbirds include Goldfinch, Cardinal, Chickadee, Bluejay, Wren, Baltimore Oriole, Grosbeak, Bluebird, Finch, Robin, Titmouse & Meadowlark.

This gansey knit afghan is made using 10 balls of Plymouth Encore worsted-weight yarn and a size 9 (5.5mm) 40-inch circular needle. The pattern includes written instructions and charts for each stitch pattern. Model afghan is made using 9 squares sewn together and finished with a border.

The body of the sweater is knitted flat, while the sleeves are knitted in the round. A shadow diamond cable dominates this A-line sweater with a curved flattering hem, and I-cord bands frame the bottom of the sweater, while garter stitches mark the sides and the round neckband.

I found this beautiful knitting throw on Annie’s website.
I like this Knitting pattern and yarn a lot. The Blanket is soft but has some substance and structure. It blocked beautifully, although it was a bit tedious getting all the horizontal lines exactly straight and symmetrical. 
I appreciate having the printed instructions and find this pattern easy and very relaxing for me to knit. Love the design!
